Ludlow is a small, very picturesque market town. It is the first planned town since Roman times.

- Ludlow Castle and the very famous Feathers Hotel

- Whitcliffe Common, with its fabulous views and walks
- Clee Hill - site of outstanding natural beauty
- The local park, just below the Castle Walls, where you can take a boat ride along the river.
- The famous choir stalls in Ludlow Church - climb the church tower for wonderful views.

- Lots of pubs and good restaurants. Ludlow has four restaurants listed in the Michelin Guide, three with a star.
- Local markets Monday, Friday and Saturday in the town square. Half day closing Thursdays.
